About us

We are Dansbandet, a dance and performing arts collective consisting of Martina Fischer, Love Andersson

and Karin Raudsepp.

We are all three dancers and dance educators from Umeå, Uppsala, Halmstad and Stockholm and hold a bachelor's degree in dance pedagogy from Stockholm University of the Arts.

Since 2021, Dansbandet has been working artistically and educationally, creating performances and facilitating meetings to activate people to create and move.

As a group, we work collectively in all stages of the process, whether it concerns the artistic creation and production of works, workshops and teaching projects, or the administrative work.

​

Dansbandet's projects are within the contemporary dance field and are aimed at children, young people, adults and elderly. We create and produce performances, but also offer workshops and pedagogical projects. We often work with themes such as surrealism and humor, physicality and interactivity.
