Breath in the wild is a contemporary dance performance created by choreographer Shiraz Amar, but which now lives on under the direction of Dansbandet. Breath in the wild invites young and adults on an absurd movement journey in the sign of transformation. Through humor and pop cultural references, the work plays with the audience's understanding of various phenomenas on stage. The movement of the tents encourages the children to comment and laugh - an exciting and energizing experience. Are the tents animals? Monsters? People? Martians? Insects? Or maybe something completely different? It is open to the interpretation of the imagination and it is WILD!

The project fundamentally aims to challenge conventional notions of bodies, identity and social behavior. Through the dance performance, we deliver the message that everyone can dance, regardless of size, shape, gender or background.

Literally, anyone can dance - even tents!
